Alabaster is easy to
carve, can be rubbed to a matte or gloss finish,
and contains no asbestos. It is a very pure stone
with rarely an imperfection. Alabaster is of medium hardness, is
translucent, and has clear white color with very light veining.
Light will filter softly through thin areas of this stone.
These rough-cut stones are hand picked and imported from Italy.
Pieces are randomly sized so listed sizes and weights are
approximate.
