The Walker System
consists of the hardware — the Uprights, Bases, Stiffeners, Junctions,
etc. for holding all kinds and sizes of panels to
make displays and exhibits, movable and portable, temporary or permanent.
Your pegboard, plywood, wallboard or other panel is the key
to an attractive and flexible exhibit in a variety of
arrangements. Set-up is quick and easy, all nuts and bolts
needed for assembly are furnished with complete instructions. Refer to
the diagram to choose your parts. FOB factory. Uprights —
The vertical parts that hold your panel to make a
display. Made of anodized aluminum. Concealed in the Upright are
Clamps (1) which grip the edge of any panel not
over 1/2" thick. Also concealed in the Upright are one
or more Panel Supports (2) on which the bottom edge
of the panel rests to insure a level and adequately
supported panel. (Use 1 Upright in conjunction with a Standard
and Junction Kit when a Base is not required, such
as in the center of a configuration.) Bases — Bolt
to the bottoms of the Uprights (3). They hold free-standing
units upright and stable. Plated steel, available in the Flat
Foot Base style. Flat Foot Base — Clean, sculptured, almost
impossible to trip over. 24" long. Standards — Consists of
two uprights plus two bases. Stiffeners and Stiffener Brackets —
Clamp to the top and bottom edges of long, thin
or warped panels (4). They add both stiffness and a
finishing trim. Brackets (5) are included for joining Stiffeners and
Uprights and providing extra strength. Hinged Junction Kit — Everything
you need to join 2, 3, or 4 Uprights or
Standards for a multi-panel arrangement (6). (Uprights and Standards not
