These high quality
stretcher bars are more than just a piece of wood!
Their rounded back edge reduces surface friction and is designed
to keep the canvas ½" from the stretcher bar. This
feature helps insure that there will be no ghost impressions
on the canvas. Stretcher bars are made from kiln-dried, knot
free, straight white pine. Each strip measures 1½" high ×
1¼" deep. Note — Price is per strip, not per
pair. These stretchers will not interlock with other brands. Cross
braces are made with the same quality and care as
stretcher bars.
