Escoda's
Black Sable — also known as fitch or polecat hair
— is less stiff than light ox hair at around
the same price. An alternative to bristle, this handcrafted brush
is often used when painting with thinned oil colors for
more detailed work. Escoda specially cures each brush for increased
resiliency and versatility, making it a pleasure to use. The
long, red, lacquered handle offers plenty of control, and is
attached to the nickel ferrule using Escoda's exclusive triple crimping
process.
